Aironet Wireless LAN Advanced Topics (AWLAT) — A 4-day course
Synopsis
This course examines advanced WLAN network design, management and troubleshooting for the Cisco Unified Wireless Network. Detailed lecture and hands on labs cover deployments based on lightweight access points, controllers and the advanced feature set as well as autonomous access points and the core feature set. Advanced WLAN security, management and mobility services are also addressed including self-configuring, self-optimizing, and self-healing wireless networks, intrusion prevention systems, Network Admission Control (NAC), guest access, wireless VoIP and location services.
Course Objectives
After completing this training course the student will be able to:
- Describe detailed technical features, functions and benefits of the WLAN product offerings available from Cisco
- Describe the management of the core feature set WLAN.
- Administer security so that the network is safe from attack.
