Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Voice Networks v1.0 (IUWVN) — A 5-day course
Course Overview
In this course designed to help you prepare for the professional-level CCNP Wireless certification, you will learn to integrate VoWLAN services into the WLAN and to implement QOS and high-bandwidth applications into the wireless network. In hands-on labs, you will learn to configure QOS on a controller, configure end-to-end QOS on a router, capture and analyze QOS parameters, manage the WLAN from the WCS, verify the network infrastructure and place a call, work with profiles, configure wireless security for voice devices, perform VoWLAN survey, configure the network for multicast, create a video WLAN, and work with video WLAN and multicast.
Course Objectives
After completing this training course the student will be able to:
- Implement QoS for wireless applications using the best practices guidelines
- Traditional and VoIP architecture
- Design a wireless network for voice support
- Implement a Voice over Wireless LAN network infrastructure
- Implement multicast in a wireless network
- Configure the wireless infrastructure for video and high bandwidth applications
Intended Audience
Network engineers, network administrators, network managers, system engineers, WLAN designers, project managers, and any individual wishing to attain the CCNP Wireless certification.
