Responding to Organisational Change — A 1-Day Course

Course Synopsis

The only constant in organisational life at the moment appears to be change. If your experience of change in the past has been predominantly unpleasant, then it might be fair to say that you will not look forward to future change. However, the reality is that not all change turns out to be as unpleasant as you may initially expect.

This course looks at how change affects our daily lives, both in and outside of the workplace. Through reflection and a range of activities participants will explore their role in the change process.

Anyone who is currently or due to experience change and feel they need to build their awareness of how to deal with it as a positive experience for themselves or others will benefit from attending this course.

Course Objectives

Delegates will learn how to:

  • Explain why individuals react to change the way they do
  • Recognise the importance of differentiating between things you can influence and things you can not
  • Demonstrate the importance of a positive approach to any change situation
  • Identify your role in the change process
  • Identify ways of finding the energy to manage personal and organisational change effectively
