Course Synopsis

This 90 minute clinic provides in-depth knowledge of Windows Server virtualization scenarios, the features that support the scenarios, and a high-level overview of the Windows Virtualization architecture.

Course Objectives

On completion of this clinic, delegates should be able to:

  • Explain server virtualization and its benefits
  • Identify the scenarios where server virtualization can be utilized
  • Explain how Windows Server Virtualization uses a new hypervisor-based architecture
  • Demonstrates working with virtual switches
  • Identify the process for implementing server virtualization
  • Explain how to manage virtual machines running in Windows Server Virtualization

Intended Audience

IT Professionals currently experienced on the technologies included in Windows Server 2000 and/or Windows Server 2003, and who hold an MCSE or MCSA certification and/or equivalent knowledge.
