Moodle Course Creator Workshop - A 2 Day Course

Synopsis

This Moodle training course is an intensive "hands-on" 2 day workshop that covers the essential aspects of Moodle required to enable participants to start creating on-line courses.

The Moodle workshop is a highly participative event that covers the process of creating a course in Moodle focusing on the principal activity modules, management of course files, sharing and archiving resources and monitoring course activity.

Course Style

Under the guidance of the trainer, participants will learn how to construct a complete course using the functionality within Moodle. Wherever possible activities build upon each other in order to stimulate ideas about how to use the various tools in a "live" situation.

Participants are required to experience participation as a student in courses created by others.

Activities are designed to be "neutral" so that participants may derive equal benefit from the workshop regardless of their area of topic expertise, sector i.e. academic or business and the age of their target learners.
