Synopsis

This MariaDB Database Administration for Experienced Database Administrators course is designed for Database Administrators who already have substantial experience in the administration of another relational database management system such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.

This course is NOT suitable for delegates who only have experience with Microsoft Access, nor is this course suitable for delegates who already have substantial MySQL or MariaDB database administration experience.

The course provides practical experience in setting up and maintaining a MariaDB database server, including backing up, recovery, configuration and tuning.

Note

Delegates who are also considering attending the five day MariaDB Database Administration course should note that both courses cover the same content but the 5 day course is delivered at a slower pace as no previous database administration experience is required
