Synopsis

Delegates will learn how to plan and implement a backup and recovery strategy using Recovery Manager. They will perform backup and recovery operations using RMAN and Enterprise Manager. They will use Flashback features to recover from human error.

The Oracle Database 12c Backup & Recovery with RMAN course is designed for database administrators, data warehouse administrators and technical support staff who are required to plan and implement database backup and recovery strategies for Oracle Database 11g R2 and Oracle Database 12c databases.

Prerequisites

A working knowledge of Oracle SQL and Oracle Database Administration is required to attend the Oracle Database 12c Backup & Recovery with RMAN course. This can be obtained by attendance on an Oracle SQL and either the Oracle Database 11g DBA - Part I or Oracle Database 12c Administration course.

Examinations

Together with the Oracle Database 12c Manage Multitenant Architecture course, the Oracle Database 12c Backup & Recovery with RMAN course is suitable for delegates intending to sit the #1Z0-063 - Oracle Database 12c: Advanced Administration examination.

Before taking any exam, ensure you have the recommended experience. The Oracle website lists all exam requirements and these are updated regularly.
