Why Oracle Training?

Oracle is the dominant relational database management system in private sector organizations and is also widespread in national and local government, and other public organisations. Oracle is available on a wide range of Linux and Unix platforms as well as Microsoft Windows.

Why GBdirect Oracle Training?

GBdirect have developed a range of Oracle Courses aimed at ensuring that individuals perform their job role successfully, whilst at the same time preparing them for a range of Oracle Certified Associate and Professional examinations. The Oracle curriculum is comprehensive with courses available for Database Administrators, Programmers, Developers and Designers.

The flexibility provided by GBdirect comes from developing our own independent courses. This includes high quality course material that is not only written to support the learning process but can also act as a helpful reference guide for delegates on their return to work. A high level of practical work with a guaranteed workstation per delegate re-enforces the learning process. Our Oracle courses are delivered in a manner designed to foster the development of learning. Instructor led tutorials are followed by practical exercises. The style is experiential allowing our delegates to take ownership and solve problems for themselves. Delegates are taught how to solve their problems. Like any database, Oracle has its quirks, but our experienced Oracle trainers having worked with the database over so many years and through so many versions, have a wealth of practical experience and tips to pass on to their delegates.

GBdirect Oracle training courses are run almost identically on Windows, Linux or Unix platforms. In fact, the differences between Oracle on Windows and Linux platforms is so small that delegates can use both operating systems in the same classroom where applicable.
