This course will cover the 4 core concepts: M_o_R® Principles, Approach, Processes and Embedding & Review. It incorporates all the activities required to identify and control the exposure to risk which may have an impact, positive or negative on the achievement of an Organisation's business objectives and incorporates the Foundation and Practitioner exams.

This course is aimed at Business Managers; Programme and Project Managers; Operational Managers and any other roles within an organisation which need to develop their knowledge and capabilities in the Management of Risk.
These qualifications complement other OGC best practice guidance such as PRINCE2® and MSP®. They are also suited to those who may be involved in the implementation of Management of Risk M_o_R framework.
There are no specific pre-requisites for this course but delegates will be expected to have experience in Operational or Project management.
As part of the preparation for this course you will be required to complete 10-15 hours of pre-course reading
The course has been designed to prepare delegates for and comply with the requirements in the syllabus for the Foundation and Practitioner Certificate Examinations in Management of Risk (M_o_R Practitioner), published by the OGC and the Association for Project Management Group Ltd (APM Group Ltd).
The Registered Practitioner qualification is obtained via 2 Examinations which are included in the course price. One exam is 45 minutes, 45 questions, multiple-choice and closed book, and the other is a 3 hour open book objective test examination, taken at the end of the course.
As a requirement for the exam, please bring a valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) with you for the start of the course.
Also, please bring a non-programmable calculator with you for the course and for use during the exam.
If you have a medical condition that you feel may affect your performance in a formal examination (e.g. dyslexia) please advise us. The examining board can make special dispensation for this but need medical evidence and time to organize this. Exam regulations prevent the board-appointed invigilator acting once the training course has started.
