ISEB is the main governing/accreditation bodies for Business Systems Analysis and Development.
ISEB has been offering the BSD scheme since 1999 and revisions have been made since then to the modules ensuring that it offers a complete suite of products which are relevant for today's market.
Many organisations require a standard approach and a set of standard techniques, which will provide a framework for their development process. GBdirect offers a wide range of courses providing practical training in these generic techniques. In addition, GBdirect provides a full set of accredited courses, leading to externally awarded qualifications.
Over the last 12 months, ISEB has received increasing interest in the BSD Diplomas especially from overseas. However, it is apparent that the current structure does not meet the market demand for international markets and so ISEB has decided to undertake a review of the current scheme and determine what changes would be required so that BSD has an international reach.
Feedback from ISEB customers has highlighted two key requirements for the revised scheme:
- More flexibility within the scheme to allow multiple routes to gain the Diploma
- Multi-national teams needed to be able to acquire the relevant Diploma using a consistent approach that is relevant worldwide.
This means that there is now a greater choice of modules which can be taken and recognised with the BSD scheme.
