Clearswift MIMEsweeper for SMTP CMA — A 1-day course

Synopsis

This is a one-day instructor-led course which allows the delegate to install, deploy and develop policies to threats, such as email borne viruses, and to perform content inspection and policy enforcement.

This course will prepare you for the Certified MIMEsweeper Administrator (CMA) examination which is included and taken at the conclusion of the course.

This is the first of three days of training in the MIMEsweeper for SMTP range, delegates should also consider attending the second and third days leading to the CME certification

Objectives

Delegates attending this course will be able to:

  • Understand the key features and benefits of MIMEsweeper for SMTP
  • Describe the architecture of MIMEsweeper and deployment options
  • Install, configure and deploy MIMEsweeper for SMTP
  • Use the interfaces and wizards and help facilities of MIMEsweeper for SMTP
  • Set-up the initial security policy
  • Implement, modify and test email policy configuration

This course is designed for anyone who is responsible for installing and deploying a content security solution for SMTP-based email.

  • Working knowledge of: Microsoft Windows 2000, TCP/IP Networking, SMTP-based messaging systems
