A+ Certification?

The objectives of the CompTIA A+ offering have recently been updated to reflect both changes in technology and the unique requirements of the evolved IT worker job roles. The goal is to ensure that this benchmark credential remains current and relevant, offering the most value to the candidate, employer and overall market.

About the A+ exams

  • There are more than 600,000 people certified worldwide, second only to Microsoft Certified Professional
  • This is the only entry-level technical qualification
  • It is internationally recognised and vendor neutral
  • It is developed and promoted by CompTIA - Computing Technology Industry Association
  • It is interlinked with professional certification programmes such as MCSA and Cisco

  • New exams were launched in November 2006
  • Old exams will be retired on the 30th June 2007
  • Old courses will be offered until 28th February 2007
