This section of the site contains a range of UK-based Java training courses.

Our main Java training courses, cover the three most popular areas of Java deployment:

Java Programming Fundamentals is a Java training course which focuses on getting the foundations right, i.e. providing an introduction to those core aspects of the Java programming language upon which all Java application development is based.
Our Java Enterprise Edition Workshop is a Java training course focusing on gaining knowledge and skills to begin developing server-side Java applications based on the Enterprise Java component technologies; Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Servlets, JavaServer Pages (JSP) and Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB)
Our Java for Web Developer’s Workshop is a Java training course which focuses on the use of Java in web development, particularly on the capabilities of Java servlets, their advantages over CGI, the Java Servlet architecture, JDBC, session management and security.

One notable area of deployment not covered in that list of Java training courses is Java programming for embedded systems. Although the origins of the Java programming language are well known, its adoption in enterprise software development has so dominated the headlines that many (including ourselves) have only recently been struck the extent of its spread in small embedded devices, especially mobile devices and smart phones.

While we haven’t yet developed our own embedded Java training course, it’s an area that we are watching with great interest (given our long-standing involvement with embedded systems and real time programming) and in which we can source quality Java training from our contacts in the Java and embedded programming communities.

We deliver in-house courses at client premises and/or training facilities in any part of the world which is practically and commercially accessible.

Our In-house training guidelines outline our basic requirements and our UK pricing structure. To estimate costs for training in other countries, simply convert to your local currency and then make a rough calculation of our tutor's costs for travelling to and staying at your location.
