There are three routes to Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) as detailed below:-

Fast Track to Red Hat Linux System Administrator (RH199 Equivalent)

This Fast Track training course is designed to give experienced LINUX/UNIX administrators practical experience in the administration of a LINUX system to a level required by the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification. This class will have a high, practical content and a fast pace.

The new RHCSA credential aligns with the critical skills required of today's system administrators. As with all of Red Hat certification exams, the RHCSA exam continues the practice of evaluating knowledge and skills through hands-on, lab-based exam.

Please note delegates will need to pass the RHCSA exam as well as the RHCE exam to become RHCE certified.


Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Red Hat Linux for Experienced Solaris Administrators (RH290 Equivalent)

This course covers many of the differences and skills required when migrating from Solaris to Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

This FastTrack to Red Hat Linux Engineer is a practical instructor led review training course which is designed to give experienced LINUX/Unix administrators a practical refresher into the administration of a Red Hat LINUX system - especially if they intend to take the RHCSA and RHCE exams.

The course will address intermediate and advanced topics which an attendee will need to know before taking the exams. Please note delegates will need to take the RHCSA exam as well as the RHCE exam in order to become certified.

Please note delegates will need to pass the RHCSA exam as well as the RHCE exam to become RHCE certified.

Following attendance on the relevant courses, delegates will need to dedicate time for self study and researching the topics covered on the course. They will also need to gain hands-on experience so they can put into practice what they have learnt on the courses.

Attending courses alone will not guarantee exam success, previous experience, practice, self study and aptitude are also key requirements. Before taking any exam, delegates should ensure they have the recommended experience by checking the Red Hat website for current exam requirements and pre-assessment questionnaires.
