Note: Although the recommended progression through these exams is to complete first the Part I and then the Part II, the exam part numbers do not express an advancement level. Rather, each part covers distinct areas of expertise, and the exams may be taken in any order. A CMDEV or CMDBA certification is attained only when both exams for that certification are passed.

General Advice

Following attendance on the relevant courses, delegates will need to dedicate time for self study and researching the topics covered on the course. They will also need to gain hands-on experience so they can put into practice what they have learnt on the courses.

Attending courses alone will not guarantee exam success, previous experience, practice, self study and aptitude are also key requirements. Before taking any exam, delegates should ensure they have the recommended experience by checking the Oracle website for current exam requirements and pre-assessment questionnaires.

Exams are not included as part of the course nor in the course fee. Exam prices quoted are a guideline only. Check the Oracle website for up to date exam fees before booking your exam.

When booking an exam, candidates will need the exam number and title for the exam they wish to sit. If a candidate has previously sat an Oracle exam, they will also need their Oracle Testing ID Number.
