Speed and costs are becoming more and more of an issue in documentation. Conventional methods and tools frequently do not offer enough flexibility - that is reason enough to look for alternatives.

Wikis are one of the alternatives. While the content structure for 'real' management environments (file system or a system based on a database) must be known beforehand, a wiki adapts organically to its needs.

Creative knowledge bases can be implemented simply and without the need for lengthy planning. Wikis have compelling advantages (simple knowledge exchange and cost free management) that make them useful in the documentation field.

In this course you will find out what a wiki is and learn about the important rules for implementing wikis effectively in your company.

Suitable For

People who are responsible for planning and designing information exchange in their company.
