Risk Management Training

This section of the site contains a range of Risk Management training courses.

Management of Risk (MoR)

A certain amount of risk taking is inevitable if an organisation is both to achieve objectives and exploit opportunities effectively. The adoption of well managed risk taking is likely to lead to sustainable improvements in service improvement and business growth.

The M_o_R Framework allows organisations to perceive potential problems before they either arise or become a threat to achievement.

Management of Risk (MoR) covers the OGC's recommended framework for risk management and is intended to help organisations define and establish an effective framework for informed decision-making that enables visible, repeatable and consistent risk management activities.

APM Project Risk Certificate

The Association for Project Management (APM) is the UK's leading professional body for Project Managers and the largest independent professional body of its kind in Europe. It has over 15,000 individual and 400 corporate members throughout the UK and abroad.

Risk management is a distinct and specific area within the APM Body of Knowledge (APM BoK) and a key control function within any project or programme.

All projects contain risks and the effective management of risk can have a significant impact on the success of projects. The exam syllabus is primarily based on the APM BoK, the APM PRAM Guide, and BS6079 Parts 1 & 3.
