Prometric Testing Services Overview
Since providing its first Novell exam in 1990, Prometric has become the largest testing organisation in the world with over 300 clients including Apple, BCS/ISEB, EC-Council, Microsoft, PMI and many others.
Prometric deliver more than 8 million exams each year, in 134 countries, in 26 different languages.
Exam Conditions
Examinations are held under strict testing conditions, with a television camera monitoring in a closed door exam environment.
ID requirements vary for many exams. It is the examinee's responsibility to review the ID requirements for the exam before making their appointment. Please refer to the exam sponsor registration information for their specific ID requirements.
In general, most exams require the following:
- For IT exams, you must have two valid forms of ID, one with a photo and both with signature
- For Academic or Professional Licensure and Certification exams, you must have one valid government-issued ID bearing photo and signature. If the ID does not have either the photo or signature, a secondary ID must be presented that does
- Acceptable forms of photo identification include: Driver's licence, Passport, Military identification
- Acceptable forms of non-photo identification include: Credit card, Debit card.
How to Book an Examination
Customers wishing to book an examination should go to Prometric's website www.2test.com, where they can book a test and pay through a secure environment.
Pay Attention!
It is crucial to carefully review ID, payment, time and attendance requirements before attempting the examination. Candidates who fail to do so are regularly refused permission to take the examination, please do not be be one of them.
